Marnie's Bio
Hello,
I want to share a bit about myself with you. First I am happily married to my wonderful husband Mark and we have three teen daughters and a baby boy. I have truly been blessed. I spent most of my life looking for a “quick fix didn’t work. These included books, education, degrees, food, smoking, drinking, over exercising (yes OVER exercising)… all = ignorance. At age 29 I FINALLY was led to the Lord. This was just the beginning of what was in store for me…
God has led me down some interesting paths to get me where I am today. Some of those paths have been extremely painful and I am still recovering, BUT what a journey! I am so excited to be here today with the opportunity to encourage and train individuals into a healthy BALANCED… yes balanced…life. I believe it takes about 3 months to get over a bad habit, but it takes about 3 to 6 months to develop a “good” new one. I can not leave out the fact that if you have STINKIN THINKIN along that path, then you will definitely get STINKIN RESULTS!!! So my Masters in Counseling has actually come in quite handy.
My goal for people is not to make them super models, but to give them a hope and a great future for the skin that they are in! There are many things we can not control, BUT there are a few we can >>>> WE CAN CONTROL OUR BODIES, WHAT WE PUT IN OUR BODIES, AND OUR THOUGHTS…with the right tools!!! God has given me the passion to help people learn about “these tools”.
I want to share with you where I have been with my fitness background. I have worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years teaching aerobics (kickboxing, step, boot camp, cycling, gymnastics, and dance). I have been certified in various things such as AIS (Active Intense Stretch), personal training, Precision Cycling, Kickboxing…etc… I have received a pro card two times for all natural body building through NGA (National Gym Association). Basically, what this means is that I have developed my muscle “naturally” NO STEROIDS, NO SUPPLEMENTS…other than protein powder and real food!!! You do not need to look like this to be happy (and believe me I don’t look like this normally), BUT NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE MY FRIENDS.
Truly my passion is working with individuals that feel “no hope”, cause guess what…THERE IS! I love sweat. I love tears and I love those that think IT (no matter what “it” is for you) can’t happen for them! I am so excited to meet you and encourage you!
Blessing, Marnie
